LOS ANGELES — This year, the Grammys were marked with controversy – most famously, Kanye West’s partner Bianca Censori’s bold outfit choices. However, amid the media frenzy following the evening, one unexpected guest’s equally ‘stark’ statement slipped under the mainstream media’s radar.
In what can only be described as a bold publicity stunt, the beloved LSE mascot Felix crashed the event in his birthday suit, strutting confidently onto the red carpet. Without its usual purple and yellow ceremonial garb—nor any clothing at all—the Beaver struck a pose for photographers, leaving attendees equal parts aghast, perturbed and amused.
While his motivations remain a mystery, the stunt was short-lived, as security swiftly ushered the cheeky rodent out before it could command any more attention. Rumours have also circulated that the mascot had, in fact, not been invited to the event.
Due to the hullabaloo of the evening, event organisers were able to sweep Felix’s arrival, and exit, under the rug. However, Raccoon investigators were able to uncover these never before seen photos, revealing the hushed-up scandal of the event. We asked an insider contact within the LSE administration to reveal how the mascot was able to accomplish this, but all they were able to tell us was that the flights to LA were written off as business expenses.
As the curtains closed on the ceremony, one lingering question remained: will the LSE Beaver return next year? And if so, will it be wearing clothes? Only time will tell.
