Hilarious! Student Thinks There’s ‘Still Time’ to Make The Most of Summer

One LSE student has been bringing a smile to people’s faces this week. Everyone from family and friends, to neighbours and people online, have been taking a moment out of their busy days just to have a chuckle at his absurd sense of humour.

“He genuinely thinks there’s still a chance he can make something of this summer, I mean, you just can’t help but laugh!” shared the student’s mother, wiping a tear away from her eyes as she chuckled.

With zero internships, zero hours put in at the gym, zero books read from his summer TBR list, zero movies watched from his watchlist, zero travel abroad, zero travel domestically, zero hangouts with friends, and — to top it all off — an average screen time of 9 hours and 37 minutes per day, the very idea that this summer could be salvaged in any capacity is not only hilarious, but hilariously naive.

“I don’t get why everyone thinks I’m joking,” the student shared, clearly still committed to this bit. “Yeah, I kind of wasted most of this summer doing, well, nothing. But I still have a month left before uni starts, and I’m not going to make the same mistake twice.”

Behind him, his family could be heard breaking into uproarious laughter.

The student has requested to be kept anonymous, but has promised to follow up with the Raccoon in a month’s time with his ‘progress’. We hear Paris is lovely this time of year.
