About

The Raccoon prides itself on delivering journalism of the highest calibre at the LSE.

The Raccoon is a newspaper that goes against the grain, by not being swayed by the sneering Oxbridge elitism omnipresent in today’s media class, no need to name names, we’ve all seen it. In an era of unsubstantiated, sensationalist headlines, this paper is a quiet refuge from the frontline of scandal-mongering, a diamond in the rough, an umbrella in the rain, an interval with a discrete open fire escape door at an avant-garde play.

The Raccoon will not be tempted by the tempting temptation to resort to the gutter journalism exhibited by the likes of Maitlis, Kuenssberg and Theroux. Instead we opt to represent the longstanding tradition of calm, reasoned debate proudly represented by our heroes Piers Morgan, Richard Madeley and Mike Graham.

In imagine eorum florebimus.

In their image, we will flourish.
